Born in Barcelona in 1893 from a family of craftsmen, Miró produced during his lifetime thousands of paintings, drawings, as well as sculptures and ceramics.
Filled with stars, women, comets, birds and flowers, Miró’s work is imbued with poetic lyricism. Organic forms evolve, dancing mysteriously on the flat surface. My favourite paintings let us plunge into an infinite blue, recalling the sea and the sky.
